Two hat day (now that it’s raining). Stetson 3X from Shudde Bros.

Sometimes there’s an air if snobbery and elitism here. The more common hats certainly have a place and deserve more attention here. I think there are a lot of hat enthusiasts who don’t contribute here because they don’t have coveted vintage or custom hats. Like you, I’ve found a place in my collection for more humble/common hats.

Well said, Brent.
As someone who hopes to make a market improving those hats that almost made the mark, I have felt the vibe you describe.

Posting while it's POURING! When I took these pics, a bit ago, the sun was out the birds were singing and all was hot in town. This is another Panama Hats Direct (fino fino) re-done and re-ribboned by art Fawcett...

It’s a very friendly hat, with a waving brim and ribbon.

I had the pleasure of playing hooky from work today and spent the afternoon at the ol' ball orchard.

After last night, I didn't know if I would see a ballgame or a Texas Bunkhouse match. Fortunately, they kept their cool today and the good guys won.

Panama Bob at the game.

Thanks Ken! The band is by Gayle Green.

Thanks! Not real exciting on the inside. Cloth sweat.

That's an interesting full tip.
I've picked up some thrift store "adventure" hats, both men's and women's. They have pretty dismal elastic sweats, but the tips are really pretty nice, and not unlike that one.
