This 2014 article says there were dozens of Marlboro Men over the yrs but doesn't name them all.

There were but he was the original. Told one of his sons to never smoke and when his son replied, asking him why he did the commercials, Norris called up Philip-Morris and quit. There was a lot more to him than the ads. Rancher and philanthropist among them.

Very inspiring for us hat hobbyists, thanks for sharing that one. Interesting side note, a couple of years ago as part of the Heart of Texas motorcycle rally (which is a state wide scavenger hunt), we were tasked with finding (and riding to and photographing) as many Dough Boy statues and memorials around the state as possible in a single day. That was a very interesting 24 hours.

And in Honor of the 101st anniversary of the signing of the Armistice as well as our 100th anniversary of the first Veterans Parade on November 11th. One of our "Dough-boys" home in the Spring of 1919, looking at a couple of new hats to go with his NEW uniform he will soon be getting into.......HAPPY VETERANS DAY!!!

Cool story!!!!! We have some awesome Dough-Boy statues around the state here too. This is one of my favorites that I added my Stetson Grand Central to for an image.........a style the soldier coming home would soon wear again!!!!
