If I could ever, through some aberration in the cosmic fabric, find that hat in a size 63, I'd be a very happy man. All the best.

Sharp hat for escapades with your son.

Dunlap Fifteen for the office today.

We had our first confirmed case of COVID-19 at work today. It was in the Plant, and I haven’t been out there for a while. Nothing in the office yet.....

The global pandemic gets real at your work place. Here is well wishes to all that recovery is swift. Be safe and take solace that your hat kicks!

Wormser Royal Luxury.
Goldfinches returning with their dull plumage.

Some of the goldfinches in my backyard have brighter plumage.

Looking sharp as usual.

The cosmic fabric opens for all of us. I hope a similar hat finds you sir. Be safe!

A long walk in a Stetson Playboy. It is green, but the dull, gray skies have my pics all messed about today.

What color is the ribbon on the bone felt, Eric. Silver perhaps?

Great hats folks. It is a pleasure to tune in the forum and view all the hat escapades.

Joe; Great idea! You could increase the number of hats showcased by wearing a different hat for every chore. Could be a 100+ hat month! Seriously, nice hat sir.

Michael; You are looking sharp and cool as a summer cucumber. The hat, sport coat all the way to the gunboats on your feet are grand. Thanks for continuing to stay on top of your your sartorial game.

This morning I took the needed risk to head out to the grocery store. I ordered on-line and drove my car up at the appointed time and waited and had to call inside to remind them I was waiting for the boot of my auto to be loaded with the pre-paid groceries. I suspect they are just getting geared up for the increase of demand for this service. On the other hand, I have time! I wore a Gannon (bone felt) for my efforts.

A shorter length dog ramble taken in a vintage JC Penny's cap. My dog is still getting used to several adventures around my neighborhood each day.

30 Days to 30 Hats - Day 2
Stetson Standard Quality - Silverbelly

So yesterday I started with one of my very first hats... today I will go with my newest arrival. This one showed up on my porch just today.

Stetson Standard Quality Silverbelly

7 1/4 (as tagged). - Fits like 7 to 7 1/8
Super thin light and moldable Felt
1/4 thin ribbon
2 1/4 brim with 1/8 matching bound edge
5 1/2 Open Crown (4 3/8) as bashed
1 7/8 tan sweatband. Thin. Super soft and supple.

@M Hatman suggested this may be a ‘Kingston’ model... a predecessor of the Open Road. I have no knowledge other than that but this is one impressive hat!!

I thought I was getting this to check it out and pass it on to a friend whose size it would be more appropriate. Much to my surprise after unpacking and setting atop my head it fit perfectly. I am usually 6 7/8 to 7.. my 7 1/8 hats have felt strips in the sweat so I can still wear them. I even had two 6 3/4 arrive that fit perfectly... no way this 7 1/4 was gonna fit... yet here we are. So looks like this one is going to be around longer than I planned.
