The toes on my Converse are turning yellow! Does anyone know how to bring them back to white?

I’ve tried Magic Eraser, Bar Keepers Friend, Clorox Wipes, and Lysol bleach spray...so far, no luck.
Are you sure you want to do that? IMO they look better if they look aged. You can try non gel white Toothpaste with a toothbrush. Don't ever use toothpaste on white leather sneakers though.

Saphir Renomat is what I’ve found to work really well on the sneaker sole edges. It’s hard to get them back to how they started but does look better overall

Try Oxy10 acne cream and then put in the sun. It can gradually oxidates dye stain from stained action figure skin. It is a well known trick to deal with dye transfer from clothing items onto the skin of the figure, but it is a gradual process might take days. People usually apply it and then leave the figure out of sight until the stain magically gone, otherwise if you observe it you might over do it by adding more cream and it will do harm than good.

I’m getting a jacket made by JL very similar to @Jin431 ’s here:

I’m thinking about adding a throat latch on the side opposite to the chest pocket (mine will be reversed - southpaw friendly jacket). Do you think this will be too much/ too fussy?

A bit like this but the verticals chest pocket will be on the right and throat latch on the left:

If you really really want a throat latch, you can ask JL to place a hidden button to secure the latch when not in use. But having both might look a little busy on the chest area and the whole front of the jacket as well

Any Aero customers in the US, is it true that you can request that they send your jacket via Parcelforce instead of DHL? I've heard that DHL incurs custom fees every time because they get some kind of kickback, but Parcelforce is a little more on the level.

I understand that the pigment finish is intended to wear off or fade reveling the leather underneath. I'm considering a pigment finished dark blue from Field leather. What does the leather look like after the finish begins to fade. I would appreciate pictures of either a black finish or a blue finish. Muchisimas gracias, BillC

Hello, This is my first post since I started reading this forum a little while ago. I don’t have a specific questions, more so looking for any knowledge or insight I may be missing. I have a biker style leather jacket made by a Swedish company called Deadwood. It is nothing special as far as quality and construction, but it fits well, I like the style (kind of like a Lightning 391) and the fact that it’s made of recycled leather. But part of me really wants a high quality jacket that will last a lifetime (and perhaps could even be passed down). I’ve been looking at a number of jackets and have been vacillating between the detail and customization of Field Leathers, the iconic and historic nature of Lewis Leathers, and the style and fit of Japanese brands like Fine Creek. Being tall and slim, I’d likely need some customization for the right fit. Can anyone offer some direction? Thanks!

Welcome to the lounge.

If you need customization, Field Leathers might be your best option. Other great options that offer customization are Aero and Johnson Leathers.

Good luck on your leather jacket journey!

Does anyone besides for Lost Worlds and Freewheeler do a Leathertogs B style jacket?

I know Himel does something similar with the Chevalier, but I can’t think of/find any else.
