[Hats Matter]

It is hot and dry in the Bay Area today with a high fire danger. As a long time resident in the area (this means I am an antique) it also has the feel of what we refer to as "earthquake weather". So before the place goes up in flames or the ground starts to shake I thought I would post the hat I wore today running my errands. This is the older of my two Optimo Milans and the one I typically wear while traveling when we could travel.

Gus Miller refurbed by Art Fawcett Montecristi for a visit to my surgeon. Hoping to get rid of the back brace and start physical therapy.

This hat always amazes me. The weave is so fine it feels like linen.

Out with the old… in with the new. My old beat up Dobbs Twenty work hat to replace our our old beat up wooden fence with the now required fancy new white PVC gate. I’m pretty sure the sweat in my Dobbs is just about a match to how rotten this old fence was! Special thanks to my brother-in-law Dave for helping knock this out fast and plumb!
