How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Barbour Border. Took a chance and ordered via ebay from Ukraine. Let’s see what happens.

Hope it works out for you.

Some of my favourite jackets were off the rack, rolls of the dice, while custom made to order have all been sold off except my Langlitz. That Colimbo I just picked up was a gamble and I think it will end up being one of my favourites.

Langlitz Columbia finally arrived today!

First impression- they nailed it!

I’ll have to figure out where I like the waist laces, but other than that it just needs some use and abuse. Leather is quite stiff and so are the zippers. Movement is easy due to the sorta oversized top end. @Carlos840 was right about doing yoga in it, and mine isn’t even broken in! See below for demonstration at the expense of my dignity :D

This is a standard Columbia modified with no action back and square cut back bottom.

Here are some terrible pics, I’ll aim for a more complete review post down the line.

I really like it from the back. I think from the front it looks a bit oversized with the armholes and upper arm areas, but that will likely dissipate once it breaks in more the leather creases, rolls, and settles down.

Well done!

Thanks!

I agree it does look big from the front and feel like it will settle down once some of the stiffness is knocked out of it.

Really reminds me of my 21 oz denim jacket which was like cardboard on delivery.

I suppose only time will tell but I'm optimistic!

AWESOME!
I like the underarm footballs, it almost doubles as a back gussets for the lats. There is a columbia with a shirt tail in the Classifieds I have been eyeing for a while. Waiting for my Cascade to arrive to make the final decisions.
What's in the little leather pouch?

The pouch contains a tub of their leather dressing

Two long-sought-after pieces finally on their way to supplement my rack:

-Lewis Flying Dominator, L
-Freewheelers Brakeman, 44

I also have a Lewis Corsair in production.

The first two should be with me this week, the Corsair takes a bit longer. Fingers crossed everything goes smoothly.

Rip just messaged me that the Corsair is already on its way. That makes the on-going one the busiest week for me so far in this front.

Jacket looks amazing. Nice leather and the length is perfect! My only gripe would be the sleeves. Those are some canons!

Thank y’all for the kind responses. I’ll admit I’m not sure about how big the top end is? It’s a pretty big chest measurement for me, along with those big arms.

Here are some better quality outdoor pics I took (along with this hat I got too, really like it!). Is concern over the area circled in red nitpicking or something I should bring to Scott?

Maybe an inside should pad would fill out the shoulder area and pull out the creases. I am not an expert. I would ask Langlizt for their suggestions

It’s a great jacket, and the fit is too good to really worry!

I totally see your point about the excess fabric in the circled area. It may well be due to the huge armholes more than the P2P. I have a similar issue with my Simmons Bilt. I use it as one of my rare(ish) jackets for layering with a more heavy sweater, and the issue immediately goes away.

What a beautiful Columbia! I think it looks great and I think that some extra room up top is necessary to allow for movement, especially without the action back.
Only you can decide what is too much room for you and so I think you should wear the hell out of it for a couple weeks and see if it settles down and molds to your shape. I am almost positive that this is what Langlitz is going to recommend as well. That is what they told me when my first Columbia came out a bit too tight and I followed their guidance. In the end I did choose a remake and they lived up to their guarantee 100%.
