How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

The lapels on the original where a bit more conservative but when I saw them on the mock-up I thought they could use some extra oomph.

JC actually had a hand in this jacket, he supplied the ball and chain zipper which is an original 30s Talon.

^^ note the handwarmer pocket behind the d pocket.

I love it! Will you be adding the studs too? That original is sooooo cool!

It is. Green Kelpie! Pretty much run through leather jackets. Not much left of interest there for me (besides maybe something like an obscure vintage piece). I primarily wear my wool jackets in the winter b/c Chicago gets far too cold for leather once fall passes by. Should get a decent amount of wear out of this one. I’m lining it in black corduroy, so it will be toasty.

Have them put internal zips so you can send it to Shawn to get a CHL liner attached.

Maybe I should. They definitely look amazing on the black jacket.

Man I've searched the internet back and forth for weeks hoping to find suitable buttons, without succes.

So glad you got these for me. Thanks again bud!
But which color is the true one?
That's a good question, the answer being: I have no idea. Lol

Shades of browns are notoriously impossible to capture on photo.

I dyed the buttons to match the swatch Greg sent me. The swatch was dark brown with some Burgundy undertones:

Here's what they look like on the jacket:

Cross zip by a maker called Mosquito finally arrived from Ukraine. No ****** holes tho I'm not sure there would've been any, how thick the leather on this thing is. But thick leather alone don't mean nothing if it's not nice and you be the judge if this qualifies as nice leather. . .

Dunno what the deal is with this maker but they somehow built a top of the like Perfecto and I mean, some of the best I've ever handled in every possible way, and decided to name their company after the worst, most obnoxious pest there is so I can't imagine anything could've saved them but... The jacket is insane. Vanson grade built / Bates precision & features / Schott cool.

I'll take some more photos of the whole thing later but it's so well cut, all the right details at the right places... And we're talking leather lined pockets, Talon tear-drop pulls on all the pockets, heavily insulated lining, etc.

I can't precisely date it but I'd say early 70's just by the hardware.

New arrival, 60’s Levi’s cow hide suede Trucker

I’ve been trying to get hold of one of these for well over year, trying to find one in a large has been such a challenge. Nearly all of them for sale are in small sizes?. Anyway, the wait is over.

No need to look further in that style. Perfect.

I do believe that leather could withstand a few rounds from a Kalashnikov. Nice find.

Gorgeous colour. I'm more and more feeling the pull of this sort of mid-length leather.... Something gloriously classy and yet utilitarian about that design. What hide is it?

Not leather but at less than 1/2 price ........ Levis Made And Crafted Type II Trucker

I like this a lot. Are those exterior pockets original to a Levis design, or is this a creative reinterpretation? Look much more useful than handwarmers!
