How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

Yes it does indeed. I believe Terry has a similar one that’s a Sears

I had the same Windward jacket., Cool, but too small for me. Yes, it has the look of the Appalachian with no vertical zip.

I recently acquired a Appalachian vertical zip from the late 40s, earliest I have seen.

Windward.

I just got this yesterday, Attractions Continental jacket (Appalachian cross zip repro).

I’m pretty happy with it. I’ve been looking for this style for a few months. The love child of an A2 and a cross zip…lol. I think this is some sort of sample as it doesn’t have the lot number. Don’t know but it came in like new condition anyway for the a total price of just shy of £450 including shipping and fees. Can’t complain too much.

It’s surprisingly heavy at 3.74kg.

great pick up. Congrats!
There are some gems from the far east and this is definitely one of them.
Is the big map pocket a huge pocket or an access to the inner lining? mitred cast buckle is nice detail.

Just a huge pocket on this repro, you can store and carry around a fair bit of stuff that’s for sure.

So I just found this on Mercari. Was looking at it for a couple days...and I just went with it. We'll see when it arrives next week or the other.

Description of the seller.
Trojan (Lost World?) front quarter horsehide riders. The leather is still stiff and the collar is mouton. The size notation is 44, but it feels like a size of about 38 to 40 inches. Approximate actual size is shoulder width 51cm, width (armpit) 50cm, dress length 61cm, sleeve length 61cm. The hooks on the sleeve straps have been repositioned to better fit your wrist when closed. The color is black, close to dark brown. The collar boa is genuine mouton. It's not a major brand like Schott or Vanson, but it's recommended for those looking for something different.

I'm excited. Whatever it is I hope it fits well because I want a cross zip to wear on my bike and that mouton collar will be warm. I Tried to compare it to many pictures online and couldn't come to the conclusion that this is a LW but I have seen others in smaller size (36) with the same lining and label placement) The other LW I have seen all have LW label at the neck but the pocket placement is left or right (I guess depending on customer choice). There are a lot of Lost Worlds in Japan, some are earlier models (People selling B2 as old as 10 years and other obscure ones I have never seen before) so maybe it is.

The label is crudely stitched and I haven't seen any other Trojan repro with this size label.

That is a LW jacket. If it’s not, I’ll eat my hat. Nice score! You are on an unusually lucky streak of grabbing rare LW styles!
