How many new jackets do you have coming (and how many potential ones)?

After owning God knows how many IH jackets, this is the first year I’ve really appreciated it. There something about that 21oz denim, more so as a jacket or a vest than in jeans, that just makes it a perfect piece.

Hell yes, it’s awesome. I like that I can wear the vests all year. I’m looking forward to seeing the overdye break in.

IH canvas and cordura are pretty darn good too.

I had this Aero highwayman on the way that has now officially been declared lost by the courier. Poor one out for a homie.

Also took a chance on a £40 black Schott 141 vinted that 100% looked like a ****, turned out to be real and wasn't lost by the courier. Would have preferred the Aero though .

I just bought this Deerskin trading post vest on Ebay for $30.


The condition is great and the quality looks decent, I'd avoid the center back seam on a jacket but am not concerned about it with a vest.

The label isn't Danvers Mass addressed, but it also doesn't say MADE IN TAIWAN and neither does the tag. I'mmguessing mid 70's for the age and assuming it's American made but I suppose there's no way to tell when it doesn't have a COO.
I don't know if it's deerskin ( it has some decent grain at least ) but I like the color / style and the price was right.

Sherpa looks to be about 4” deep! And these were cheap too. Makes it hard to justify the

I’m also having a custom t shirt made that reads:

I love my Wranglers sherpa trucker, but for some reason the ranchers haven't really been on my radar.
They're hard to find for under $100, I just gotta be careful to make sure it's an American made example.
If I'm getting an import I might as well skip the search and just buy a new one.

Just wanna say ordered my first real leather jacket like 10 minutes ago. I have a first manufacturing crusader jacket (with armor, size s) from last year that I wear during the winter when riding my z400. This time it's a schott 689H, size 36. I've tried it on before in the Soho store so Im pretty sure the fit is good. Can't wait to share some pics! Also next year, IF I do prove to myself that I do actually enjoy wearing this, (and thus NOT be a closet queen) I might consider an aero vincent or some other crosszip just for variety. BTW schott has 15% off currently with code morepie2023 only thru this weekend.

That Aero is very cool but there's no doubt now, you on the fast lane of the Tom Ford for Gucci leather blazer highway. Vintage, of course. 54R. Calf, of course. We weren't enduring the most uncomfortable leather jackets imaginable all these years, only to end up wearing some thin-*** lambskin. Either way, time to say good bye to the work-wear / biker losers and their Carhart's and their Perfectos and their cuffed jeans.
