No wash, just flip inside out and let the sun do its thing. I have washed my Canada Goose one, but if not fully dried the feathers will have a bad smell. So just leave it inside out in the sun is good enough.

The Rainbow Country one is really high quality stuff. They are heavily discounted on the used market too, it's totally worth it.

Not really for style, but practical warmth.

A black leather down vest makes sense. It looks just like a black vest, as the leather appears matte.

Yeah black is the easiest to pair with. I just throw these on when I go out for a short time, they're quite warm and no need to lug a big jacket around. But a full jacket is still much more stylish though. It's a trade off between function and style.

Does anyone know where I can get a crown # 10 locking main zipper such as was used on Trojans? I’m trying to have a repro made and want that authentic zipper. Thanks!

there's a parcel stuck with dhl for over 2 weeks, it's a sheepskin leather coat that was shipped in a plastic bag and a cardboard box.

is there a risk of mold or something developing on the jacket? dhl doesn;t know what's going on with it

Yes, but mold can be fixed. I would be much more worried about DHL having lost the parcel. Have you started an investigation?
indeed i have, but that is extremely concerning. can mold really develop that quickly? I swear dhl is the worst service i've ever used...

I would use a leather cleaner, such as Lexol Cleaner. It shouldn't be a problem to get any mold off that may have developed. But as Marc said, the biggest concern should be that DHL lost the package.

hey all, has anybody ever purchased the RAF sheepskin jacket (the red one) from flightjacket.com/ us authentics? I'm trying to find some irl pics but it isn't easy aside from one video, but it would be swell to see more

I would expect that, like most of these places, it'll be warm and well made but not especially accurate.

I think I'm probably going to sell one of my own RAF sheepskins, so that might be an option for you depending on your size.

Do you guys ask for updates when you order a MTO jacket?

I was quoted 8 weeks 11 weeks ago and I wonder if it’s ok to ask for an ETA.
