Washington DC police have issued a warning about armed robbers targeting and stealing thousands of dollars worth of winter coats in broad daylight.

In the span of 48 hours, multiple residents were robbed of their Canada Goose and Moncler jackets at ***point.

Police said that three to four masked thieves wearing dark clothing approached the victims and demanded their jackets as well as other items before making off with them in a car.

My blazer is made to measure and wasn't cheap, but I doubt any self-respect thief would be seen dead in anything that I wear. We have a police officer in the family, one of my cousin's sons. He cracked up when I shared with him these photos, along with The Daily Mail's report.
"Any thief wearing your clothes wouldn't exactly blend in," he joked.

Considering the frayed trailing tail on the bow and the unsewn sweatband seam this might be a pre-war hat from the 20s/30s. The hat has a bit of character but the intense blueberry blue felt was too good to pass up.

Mark (@M Hatman) has a wholesale catalog from 1931 for McKibbin featured in the ephemera thread. Unfortunately the Windsor is not listed in the catalog.

Bump. I got rid of all my fedoras maybe 8 years ago... kind of a lifestyle cleanse of things I held on to and didnt use. Anyway I ordered an Agnoulita, in transit currently, but I can already tell I'm not going wear it much. Similar to when I sold my collection mentioned earlier. I think their navy is too French. My old cobalt blue stetson was the hat a missed the most so here I go again. I'll try to post it when it's delivered. P.s. hello everyone I've chatted with.

One of my cheap ebay acquisitions... a blue Stetson sovereign felt, center dent something or another. ( no marking or tag with a model name) Really soft but thick felt.. too warm to wear much right now, so before fall, I might replace the band with a decent ribbon and be ready for cooler weather

Nowadays MG is in the hands of the Chinese firm: SAIC Motor (Shanghai Automobile Industry Corporation.)
Does an MG truck sort of go against the grain?

Very kind of you to say so. MG's heritage hasn't been forgotten though, there's a new sports car coming through at present, but with a UK price tag of £60K it's aimed at the privileged not us plebs.

It's been far too long since something was posted here, so I'll post this one to revive it.

Mossant Bayard in a blue colour called Orient. Size 56 with the raw edge brim at 6,5cm and the crown at 10cm at the front. Couldn't find anything on the retailer.
