I may need to do doubles. Borsalino slimbrim for today’s stingy stubmission. Vvveerrryy slow internet here at the pond (7mb!) has slowed down StingyMas for a few days…


Easy way to extend any brim is to use a wide angle lens.

Hurry! It’s the winter solstice, and we don’t have much daytime today.

Thanks, Voo. The coat is a Bolini. Although single breasted, it has a bit of a pea coat feel to it. Here’s a couple of old shots with this coat and some Hornskovs.

Today winter solstice opens the parade a Barbisio Titan - Qualità Superlativa.
It is one of the best Barbisio hats in the post World War era. The finishing is superlative and the felt too.

The color is "Silver" and is mentioned on the paper label as well as "Beaver"

One of the very rare Italian hats in my possession where beaver is mentioned as a component.
It is not my size, it is large, but who cares

First is an Optimo open crown made with a felt called “round midnight”.



Next is a blue Optimo Manhattan fedora. I need to work on my camera skills as this doesn’t look blue, but it is.
