Thanks ! Condition isn’t great but definitely better than I expected from the photos. It’s sheepskin so pretty delicate. Took me a while to recognize it but I remembered seeing a similar one from an ig seller.

I picked up a vintage Vanson brown leather jacket that appears to have been re-lined with a quilted liner (could be original but I haven’t seen a similar one). No inside pockets so I can’t find a serial number (discarded with the old liner or I don’t know where else to look?). Talon zippers. Leather is light and soft, definitely NOT competition weight leather. Size 40 and weighs only 4 lbs and a few oz. Built very close to my Model B but no chest pocket, no armpit leather “footballs”, beltlets constructed not as well as my B’s without keepers and no interior snaps/zipper for additional layering. Overall a nice casual jacket in very good condition and fits well.

The same week I found this irresistible 80s Lewis Leathers Bronx in sz46 on eBay UK for £180

And 2 weeks after I ordered both a RR3 and a Hudson from Rugged West.

Once again I roll the dice on a mystery jacket that looks a bit like a branded (which almost never crop up this side of the pond). Last time I did this it was a terrible “genuine leather” generic jacket in poor leather, but I like to make a point of never learning from my mistakes. Both the main zip and coin pocket are looking plausible, the removable belt less so…
