raw boot-cut denim options

Hi everyone,

I looked over here, outside and I could not find such existing options.
I am looking basically a boot-cut jean similar to Levi 527, Uniqlo bootcut (slim boot-cut, medium rise). In raw denim, indigo, 100% cotton, ideally selvage.

Wrangler (13mwz, 946, etc) is not an option as rise is too high. As I am seated most of the day it's uncomfortable.

I found IH 461 but it does not look to be available anymore.
Am I missing something? Nobody else wears such things?

I thought Uniqlo would have had, I bought Uniqlo jeans, selvedge, regular and slim, I like them

Uniqlo used to have nice jeans, best bang for the buck around 40 euros. Last good one was the regular straight 100% cotton, Kaihara selvage denim like 12oz. It was fitting very smart, comfortable to sit (sitting at your waist bones level), yet they won't reveal your crack. Very slightly tapered down.

But they changed the cut since 6-7 years ago and became very tapered. I guess it's called slim straight. The selvage denim fabric being now 98% denim, 2% elastane. If I pick my size in the old model (32/32) I can barely get my thighs and .... in them. And my thighs are not overly thick. If I upsize (to 34 waist) and choose something to fit my thighs, the top will fit like I ... myself. And the waist ofc will float around me. For reference I am 187 and 86, fairly fit.

Uniqlo also has some regular non-selvage jeans, so called "regular straight" which in fact are tapered. Same story - the fit is awful for my body type. If I choose a size that fits my thighs they are loose and too roomy on top. Not to mention the tiny legs how they taper. Very unflattering.

I wonder why they changed the previous pattern to this strange one? Who benefits from these unflattering patterns with roomy top block and tiny legs towards the bottom? Even when you sit it drags your pants down.
I guess they are intended for teenagers (apparently their target segment) to accommodate esp those that are not so in shape.

Uniqlo used to have great stuff 10-20 years ago. Now almost all their clothing is cut overly loose, unigender type, unibody type, have soulless colors and you can barely find something without synthetic fibers. I understand that teenagers wear this. But there is the more mature segment that wants something that fits smart, clothes that sit on you not flowing in all directions, falling off you and having to constantly readjust them or they will look messy.

Yeah I agree, I have old Uniqlo, nice, now all I saw was skinny fit, I've lost weight but not that much, shame they did nice denim

Soso used to have a bootcut but they also discontinued it.
That being said you could check the fit closer to what you're after and custom spec the leg opening.
Unfortunately prices have been going up lately.

Are you looking for boot cut because you want a noticeable flare at the hem or because you want them to fit over a western style boot?
Plenty of straight fits will cover a boot without showing its outline. For my size 16” or 8”x2 is the sweet spot
