    Using a vintage bag everyday?

I hang my purses on the wall so that I can enjoy them. But I also use them, I carry a vintage purse everyday. I don't think that I have any new purses left, those fall apart, the vintage ones hold up better for me. Yes, some wear out after a while, but then they become 'display only' bags.

does it ever bother you that vintage clothing is a deceased person's clothing?

Wearing other people's clothing doesn't bother me at all, it never did. I grew up in a house filled with dead people's old things. Just about anything vintage that you are going to wear can be cleaned anyway. Go into a store today and look at brand new clothing, chances are someone else tried...

30s Culottes: I'm Loving Them LOTS

The auctions for the 2 NOS Halter culottes ended last night. No bids, probably because the starting price was $125. Here is one of the items -...

"Mad Men" on AMC (US) - (Spoilers Within)

Marrying him and thinking that he's sexy are 2 different things. Just because a woman thinks that a man is sexy or that she wants to have sex with him doesn't mean that she wants to marry him and have his babies.

"Mad Men" on AMC (US) - (Spoilers Within)

Her age has nothing to do with how immature she behaves. Yes, her upbringing probably does. Her father probably spoiled her and her mother was jealous of it. I doubt very few women watching this show would actually want to be married to Don, knowing everything that the viewers know about...

"Mad Men" on AMC (US) - (Spoilers Within)

That's exactly how I felt. It's like she was being forced onto us, we were all suppose to love her, because she was the 'Next Big Thing' I would rather have seen Don try a new life with a mature behaving woman, one who is more secure in life, a better match. Then it would have been more...

"Mad Men" on AMC (US) - (Spoilers Within)

I liked Megan in small doses as a secretary. But as Don's wife you saw how pouty and immature she really is. Although betty was pouty and immature too, but she was quieter about it I guess. There's something deeper to Betty than Megan. I didn't get Ginsberg. He started out as someone I...

"Mad Men" on AMC (US) - (Spoilers Within)

I don't think she remembered Pete. I was expecting a shot of her after he left with some sort of hint of her really knowing him, but there was nothing. Maybe we're not sorry for Pete because he has been a little snot from the start, and he doesn't appreciate anything that he has. I want Don to...

"Mad Men" on AMC (US) - (Spoilers Within)

I read somewhere that they were planning on 2 more seasons. But I don't know if they actually have contracts for 2 more seasons with the actors/creators/AMC.

I'm hoping that Megan gets an acting job far, far away.

"Mad Men" on AMC (US) - (Spoilers Within)

Excellent episode. All of the character's reactions were really well acted, they made it even more intense and tragic.

"Mad Men" on AMC (US) - (Spoilers Within)

Oh yes, I hadn't thought of that - Don and Peggy showing up to pitch ads from rival agencies, trying to win over new clients.

"Mad Men" on AMC (US) - (Spoilers Within)

I wondered if Joan thought that Peggy was leaving because she was now a partner. I think that Peggy is going to have a hard time at the new agency, she's going to have to prove herself all over again.

"Mad Men" on AMC (US) - (Spoilers Within)

To me it's just a tv show, I can take it for just that and not worry about how it might be affecting how some people view the era. People have different views on life today so why worry about what they think about the 1960s if they are too lazy to do some research themselves. Yes people may...
