Any Christmas animation is cool, most especially claymaton like Rudolph. We're No Angels-1955 with Humphrey Bogart, Aldo Ray, and Peter Ustinov is timeless. Not to mention Bob Hope in the 1951 version ofThe Lemondrop Kid, absolutely fantastic!:eusa_clap :eusa_clap :eusa_clap

Watched Val Lewton's Bedlam with Boris Karloff over Halloween night. Lewton's a master, and Bedlam is a great film!

My wife bought me Tod Browning's Freaks on DVD. As always, a great movie! The extras were great as well, including the three alternative endings. What a classic film! :eusa_clap

Return of the Living Dead-excellent Halloween movie!

Pan's Labyrinth is a very cool film, although I prefer The Devil's Backbone by the same director. My wife and I just watched Night of the Living Dead. Now, that's a brilliant film, and not just a bit creepy.:eusa_clap

Not my oldest for sure, but actually my 'newest'! I just bought this at a local antique store an hour or so ago: It looked interesting, and I vaguely remember thinking I might possibly have heard of this series of books. It's got a 1916 copyright, and just look at the cool cover...

My mother has a penchant for vintage clothing and looks, so it could be...although, influence from a parent might fall more into the environment category. My dad isn't so much into it. Really, I think it leans toward the eclectic and eccentric side as much as a love for vintage looks.
