    Show us your hair do's....

Barbigirl- Wonderful to see a few familiar faces still here. That is some brilliant longevity for a set, and what a cute set at that. The curl in front was rolled forward on base, but fell a bit. I forgot the heat setter.

    Show us your hair do's....

I did attend a hangar dance back in October, and was perplexed on styling my pixie cut when inspiration struck in the form of Rosie the Riveter. Bandana, and a curled fringe equals easiest hairstyle ever. <----I'm also glad to finally have a pic of my second go-to hairstyle, the Louise Brooks...

What do you consider vintage colors?

For me, it depends on my mood and the season. I'm more classic than truly vintage, but Spring is when I really start to crave color. Now, if an event is set in a particular era that's when I do more homework and try to stick with a palette appropriate to that era. Although, that's not always...

    What's For Breakfast...

Well, I started off correctly with wheat toast, almond butter, coffee, and water. Then my son performed a donut dance, and I just can't ignore a good donut dance. More coffee, and a plain glaze.

Babydoll- What a gorgeous little girl, and the tulip fields is a brilliant idea! I believe the last time I did a family post my kiddo was still a baby. He's 7 now. Here he is with his father, in matching hawaiian print.

Don't want to be (seen as) a wannabe!

<---Funny thing is, considering my avatar and various apparel mentioned I'm a wannabe and have been happily since the 90s.

Don't want to be (seen as) a wannabe!

I'm using that line, it's so much better than "we're in a dress rehearsal for Grease on Ice."

    Cute Vintage-y Shoes

Looking for a vintage inspired white shoe non specific decade to wear with my lighter colored dresses and skirts in the spring/summer. Think these may work.

    Vintage-Inspired clothing lines

Laura Chase- Thank you so much for your review! I was going to ask Trashy Diva about it, but you covered my questions. Last year I had ordered the Trixie dress in aqua and loved it, but the waist was a bit too long. I hated to admit that it wasn't flattering on me and I have now gifted it to a...

Thankyou, and I really mean it

:eusa_clap I applaud you for the realization that I didn't personally find til my 30s. Not to say that those voices don't whisper to me every once in a while, but it's rare and manageable. One of my favorite blogs just posted this yesterday and I thought of this thread and you. If I could...
