5'9". and a half. drat, always forget that half. i hate being tall. my fella is 2" shorter so i get too scared to wear heels. unfortunate cos now i cant walk in them cos i never learnt how. booo. tallness sucks. i'd give anything to be4 inches shorter.

i think they expect everyone to have exactly the same size arms even tho the body size is different. i don't know about you but i have always thought my arms seemed to have more in common with a size 0... lol

so i made my first skirt. was a 2 day job. and that was only really afternoons. have to say the most confusing bit was cutting the patterns in the first place. i had to fold the material 3 seperate ways cos i made a swing skirt. eugh. BIIIIIIIG pattern.

you make buttons sound like a breeze, lady day!
my nan who was a seamstress alwasy told me that button holes were much harder than just fitting a zip. so i never thought about using buttons so far. i've been tryin stuff with zips and then adding a hook.
are they really that easy?

i've had mine for a few weeks now and they're great but they are making my hair so dry cos they're so hot! i've tried all sorts of heat protection serum and spray but i think it's one of those times where i may need some hot oil/conditioning...
oooh oooh and i met james marsters. weird hearing him talk in an american accent after him being in 6 seasons of buffy. but none the less, one of the nicest people. quite gaunt in the face tho.
you're not wrong about Seven Samurai you know. my jaw was on the floor for days after i first saw it. i managed to see it at the cinema. oh good lord. amazing.
my other favourites are Ran(possibly my favourite kurosawa) and Kagemusha.

have you seen Donzoko? it's one of Kurosawas most underrated films. Mifune is in that also.
