I've been spending quality time with Mr. Fawsett's colour swatches this week and that Whiskey colour is in my top three for sure.

Not much snow room here either, although I think you got more this time than we did - we are in Nashua.
On the colours, my two favorites are Black Cherry and Dove, closely followed by the Whiskey. I don't recall seeing a VS hat here that I didn't like though, all the colours seem to work well.

How blue does it appear in person? It looks similar to how my Blue Smoke appears, but I thought I remembered Art saying it's move violet toned than blue. It appears to be one of those colors that changes with the light; I've seen it portrayed from a cool light gray to almost true blue.

Flute, I`m not sure next to the Bluesmoke, but here it is against the Silver mist and Silver belly - it`s more of a light grey with some
violet undertones
