If the information was so "limited" then it would have behooved you to make further inquiries rather than purchasing the hat to figure it out. You could have saved yourself a lot of trouble that way.

And surely as you have read, it was not just me that concluded that the new Stratoliner would not live up to the original.

Caveat emptor.

And oh, still a strawman fallacy, because nowhere in my post did I state or imply open crown height. Reading comprehension indeed....

I agree. Reading seems to have been the major problem during the entire dialogue.

If this amount of posting constitutes "no trouble," then I would hate to see what "trouble" looks like, especially considering you said your "last post" on the topic was about 4 pages ago.

Yes, you most certainly would hate it cause it ain't pretty. This is just banter, son. A pleasant diversion about something I am passionate about.

Bitten dog always yelps...

Normally on this forum, should I just select YELP, or YELP WITH QUOTE? I am not bitten. If you call that a bite, I guess my skin is rather thick. I only question the public manners, and degree of diplomacy in getting things accomplished. A complete refund to you, and we are still making you a replacement hat. We acknowledged and agreed that you should have never been shipped the one you got. Not even a public thank you from you, just your continued bantering. I felt sick about the hat you received, and was making good on it better than most any retailer would (free hat). Since you dislike the hat so much, can I just cancel your replacement and save my $$$. It seems pointless for me to be buying you a hat when you don't even like it. Even worse, buying you a hat, and receiving all of these childish posts. Yes, I am calling your posts childish, and you too.

Well, then you haven't seen all of the new-fangled graphics they've got for it. :)

A brief comment of no great consequence. ALL catalog publications that I have (many) from wholesalers and manufacturers and trade magazines pre-1960(don't have later ones) list Open Crown Specifications. Also open crown is the height of the body not how high you can poke it with a stick(not saying you necessarily did that, but some do). The spec listed was not confused with open so that isn't my point. A more spherical(tapered) open block will give a much lower front pinch than a more flat one with less shoulder radius of equal height spec.
