Yepp Frank... you know this Tweed :D
Even after pre washing it haptic is almost the same... if you can´t lay one of those side by side you wouldn´t feel a difference.

Thank you very much guys! I really enjoy being arround here with folks that have eyes for details and do appreciate that... no blind consumers that won´t see any differences to cheesy made caps;)
The liner is really nice on this... because of the differing shaped/ curved panels you simply can´t align all the pieces/ stripes... but I do my best!
I´ll put this one up to the special editions section, too... of course this finishing can be done on the other Harris Tweeds neither.

Here is the translation of the page:
No results found for Driver Hat 1920Absolute hammer part, I in my career as a self-taught Hat makers often have the statement "I have no Hat face, no hat or cap fits me". The magic is in the series. I have even not "hat face" how whatever this view has been reached, it is hereby, with this historical editing history. and I have a new CAP. A 1/4 m² best FIR green beef nubuck leather is welded belts made of calf leather in this CAP, inside, falls down behind nice, original antique, former packing belt at the front (old ÖBH military inventory) Pedante otherwise to the nature of the House, lifelong warranty. Cursed horny model. Portofrei after AT-DE other colours on request. Can a copper plate with your name or text install, for free. (wär ja mal a fancy gift;)).
Manfred what is the real translation of the text on the page.:)

Your Right !
Man if My old Ridged frame Harley was running & no helmet Law. This would be my cap.
I had consulted Gunnar Fox ,in Hollywood he made the cap for Gangs of New York a couple years back .But I could not afford it then or now. Nice collection & distressing.
Though I would prefer a vintage or new condition cap.

Chepstow cool link ,crazy caps.
Very cool caps!

The first of Bela's caps that I've received. I've had this linen cap for a couple of months and truly love wearing it. I'm awaiting the second one, a brown herringbone linen / cotton, eight panel cap.

Manfred what is the real translation of the text on the page.:)[/QUOTE said:
1920 drivers cap

A wicked piece! In my career as a self-tought hatmaker I have often heard people complain „I don´t have a hat face, hats or caps don´t suit me“. The magic lies in the dissymmetry. I don´t have a hat face either but now that´s history: I have a new cap!
The cap is made from a quarter square meter of the finest fir green nubuck leather, calf skin sweatband, droops nicely to the back, original vintage belt at the front (old stock from the Austrian forces). Apart from that it´s of course a la maison, made with persniketiness with a lifelong guarantee. Damn´ sharp model!

Free shipping to Germany and Austria, other colours by request.
I can fix a copper plate with your name or text to it free of charge. (Would be an extravagant gift as well, wouldn´t it?)

:D Hahahaha, crazy austrian hatmaker, definitely too crazy for my taste of caps. ;)

Ed, Che and Frank, thanks. This caps are very cool. At his shop, he has only 3 variants of caps!
Translation, I am a bit late to the party. Frank did the translation.
