I too am expecting a JL in the same CXL , hopefully in the next few days. I can't see anyone buying a "stock" JL unless they walk out of the store with something pre-made. Otherwise you have choices and little separation from the maker so customizations seem inevitable. Mine is a variant of the Lost Worlds Rigger. It can be cold enough to wear it into June, so I'll use it before summer (it's going to be a warm jacket with a Merino lining). P.S. To me, anything below 60 is cold (on my bike).

One thing I've noticed about this leather is that in the flesh, the color is somewhat more matte in person, especially in less lighting. The shininess seems to come out more in pictures.
