I am a big Henry Rollins fan, since I read his autobiography, "Get in the Van" way back when. I am not much of a fan of spoken word or his music. I find the man entertaining. His choices for this jazz album are superb and get better with each listening.

I led (pun intended) a sheltered life as a kid and while the 10-year-old me was grooving to the Kingston Trio, the Brothers Four and that crazy Neil Diamond, I apparently was missing out on a whole new world. My cousin from Chicago turned me on to that same Led Zeppelin album. Probably why I never amounted to much ...

I love the Bo Diddley, and count myself as fortunate that I had the opportunity to hear him play live once, back in the 80s. He had a full tank that night and played "Who Do You Love" about four times during the set, and the words were different each time.

Hey Bo Diddley's wearing my avatar's suit! I discovered years after my Led Zeppelin introduction that my Mom had a Bo Diddley album. Apparently they were keeping me away from that for some reason.

Thanks for that. I did enjoy it. It takes a lot of talent to pull off the one-man-band, and that guy obviously has it. I dig the whole lo-fi, d.i.y. aspect of it.Dale, you were fortunate. That must have been a night. Here's something I think you'll enjoy.
