But back to guns, I will have to post some pictures later, but I just inherited a S&W Model 15 Combat Masterpiece with a 4" barrel. I had a 2" one years ago that I sold and have been kicking myself over for years.

I've had good success removing Cosmo with Goo Gone cleaner and also leaving the stock packed in cat litter for a few days.

Thanks kampkatz. I do have quite a collection of stuff. Hats guns ties suits shoes. But I only have this good taste thanks to being around gentleman like the guys on this thread. I've been fortunate enough to have great friends and influencers and it's not enough to enjoy this stuff by myself. Tis for this I'm ever grateful

SurfGent, those are some fine looking weapons. I have always found the Sig to be much more fun to shoot than the PPK....no slide bite. What year is that Sig?

Well by going by the proof mark code of KE it would put date of slide production at 1994. But it does say made in West Germany so that means it was actually milled pre 1990 and probably sat in stock till it was assembled and finished in 1994 when it would have got its serial number and proof marks.
