Thanks Mike. I agree... the weave is lovely.

I'm going to do further research on the "Shootout At The Tardan Hat Store." From a bit of further looking this morning, I've reason to suspect that the refugees who reported this may have been hitting the tequila a bit too enthusiastically and were mistaken. But I'm not sure yet. Going to look into it further during my leisure.

I found some documents from Peru that used "lejitimo". Perhaps there is regional variation of the spelling. I wonder if Ecuadorians spell it that way. Maybe Tardan was trying to make it look exotic.

I'll research further.

Thanks Matt. The shirt is a Bud Berma out of the mid to late '70s I think. Hand embroidery on the collar and pocket tops.

No. I took it when I was in school but never committed to becoming fluent. Like an unused muscle, my Spanish has atrophied. Sadly, I seem to lack the discipline to learn. I continue to start periodically, but never stick with it.
