Vintage Standing Ashtray

One of my staff blessed me with this ashtray. It looks very Madmen. I don't smoke but it looks great in my office. Has anyone seen one of these?

The medical practice I went to as a child had a couple of ashtrays very similar, if not identical to, this one. I remember being fascinated by them, and sneaking in some gravel in a pocket so I could drop a rock in the tray then flick the tab, dumping the rock into the receptacle with a rather-satisfying "tink". (What can I say, I was easily amused.

They were there as far back as I can remember, so in place by the early '70s? If they were new with the building, they dated no earlier than '62-ish.
