Johnson Leather Custom Aviator Style

Out of curiosity, are the people with the negative comments turned off by the lapels? I think they're incredible. People not familiar with the earliest jacket designs might find them peculiar or unusual.

It's such a neat design and I'm surprised there are not at least a few more offerings for it, or patterns like it, out there. Maybe there are in Japan?

They were all ordered at different times, but circumstances brought them within a day of each other. Pretty fun how that worked out! But yes, it was a pretty overwhelming event
At the moment, I am switching between them on a daily basis.

Thanks! It completely exceeded my expectations and I can't state enough how much fun it was to spec it with them.

That Rin Tanaka model was reproduced by freewheelers and called San Mateo



Yes, the lapels indeed which have been called "weird" among other things.

The Freewheeler's take is nice too.

You and JL did a great job. I really like the double snap detail on the front bottom, which someone already mentioned. Gives it some extra pop in front and balances it out visually with the strong lapels. And the back is just classic.
