First one of several (finally there was a dry hour so I could take some pics). First one.
Borsalino faunosca 39 in the colour china. Martora felt. This was the one that I traded with @dkstott and for which I'm very very grateful to him. Raw edge brim at almost 7cm and crown 11cm at the center dent. It's a beauty.

She does know how to model those hats, Georg. Great pics. How come she doesn't want the hats? Takes after her mother maybe?;)

I love seeing my daughter wearing cool dress hats.
She already has a few from me, but rarely wears them and doesn't want more.
Unfortunately most teens and young adults are just not in to that kind of head wear.
I have to admit I was more into base caps in my youth as well.
I wore my first Fedora working part-time as a bartender in my twenties :)

This was kind of a cool find. Not perfect, but still.
Hückel Alpha in a size 58. Lovely grey/silver velour hat with the raw edge brim at 5,5cm and the crown at 10cm at the center dent. The hand of the felt is just awesome. It has lost its liner somewhere along its history, the ribbon has some markts and the reed has come through in the front, but the sweatband is still supple (I did treat it with some conditioner though). Doesn't take away from the quality and it's all minor as soon as you touch that felt. Sonderanfertigung (specially made for) for Carl Zeumer. Sweatband mentions Pfau-Feinhaar (meaning Peacock finehair). Don't know what that refers to.

Wonderful. I like the way light reflects and gives it a marble stone coloring.

Love the Martin!!

Very nice hat parade today, Stefan. I like them all!
Martora felts are nice and thin. Beautiful color, Esteban.

Please sell it to me :-D It's not your size is it? ;-)
Thank you, gentlemen. The Martora is a favourite, but that's also because it's my size. The others will become available (after certain obligations); I have a reputation as enabler to uphold after all:)

Well, give it time for the hat bug to take hold. She'll get there. Refreshing for the lounge to see hats worn by others than, let's face it, middle aged men.
Thanks for the likes on the Hückel. I see that you too find it hard not to buy a good hat when you see one, even if it's not your size.:)

Usually when I'm looking for vinateg hats I can find plenty in my own size. Larger sized hats are much more rare. Last week I found some interesting ones in large sizes. Not as old as I'd like, but there you go.
Wegener suede finish with braided felt ribbon in a size 60 (7 1/2 American). Hard to call the colour, because it varies depending on the light from black to dark grey to dark blue. Brim at 5cm and crown 11cm at the center dent. Lovely hand to the felt, which is why I brought it.

Before I start posting the Mayser hats, here's one I did find in my size (well, it fits me).
Heinr. Neumann chamois in a size 57 (but runs small enough for me). Overwelt brim at 5,5cm and crown 10cm at the center dent. No liner, but it must have had one in the past, and just a generic label inside the hat. So no clue who the manufacturer was. Really cool bow treatment, nice shape to the hat and excellent felt (reminds me of Hückel chamois finishes). What's not to like?

Mayser Padua Garda. Very hard to name this colour, so Padua Garda it is (I could always go for "taupe"). Size 60 with the raw edge brim at 7cm and the crown 10cm at the center dent. Same age as the "city fanal" judging by the label. European hats usually have narrower brims than American made ones, but this one has some more width to it, which is the reason I brought it with me.

This is my favourite of the lot...especially for the name Padua - Garda, even if Garda is in the district of Verona
