Another Australian bootmaker. My wife's boot of choice over the years. 100% Australian made. Hers are the elastic sided slip on type.

Yep - I've mentioned them. I'm not into footwear, but I do have 7 pairs of boots made up of of Blundstones and Rossi's. I don't own sneakers, shoes or flip flops or any other type of footwear. Been the case for decades. Problem with Blunnies are they are now made in Asia. Rossi's are still local. I would like to try another type of boot but I won't pay more than $100 Aus. I just don't care enough about boots.

I hear ya Seb. I wore Blundstone exclusively since 1994 until they moved production offshore. So I haunted eBay Australia and bought up a heap of NOS AUSTRALIAN TASMANIA made elastic sided pairs. Suede/oil kip leather/soft toe/steel cap.
That must have been around 2008 , and now most of those have worn out as they do. Many were as little as $30 AUD !
The square toed suede pair in my earlier post were $30 USD on clearance in Perth. I bought (only) 2 pairs and gave one new pair to a good mate for looking after our dog while we went to the theme parks of the Gold Coast. ( My daughter was 12 !).
The same pair has done a round trip to Europe twice , worn and taken as "good boots" haha...
In time each was relegated to dog walking duty and/or garden work before eventual "death by destruction".
The elastic sides would blow out making them a very uneconomic repair prospect.
I have no "sneakers" other than one pair of Converse Hi Top in red , and they will be over 10 years old bought on clearance at Jim Kidd sports as a Xmas pressie from my daughter to me.
I have worn them once in the last 5 years that I can remember.
When I rode Harleys to work every day , Blunnies were the first option , even tho' I also already had a diverse Lucchese boot collection accrued over 30+ years. Now the Lucchese are on Harley riding days , and Desert boots meet every other occasion, including days in shorts. Rossi , Loake , Ben Sherman amongst others. I don't wear the same pair 2 days in a row and keep cedar shoe trees in them.
Right now my "dog walking" go to pair are older brown Rossi Ripple sole , this Aussie winter will be the death of them !

My Sendra "harness" boots, bought in 2012. They are made from a really soft and supple oily pull leather which has aged beautifully. The main attraction is that the harness can be removed. I usually wear them without it.

Wow, they cost much less when they were available from Pancho and Lefty. I still haven't worn mine. There are quite a lot of differences between these boots (I own engineers from both brands) so if you really love the Clinch, nothing else is quite like them.
However, the Wescos are a solid boot and good value IMO.
