If you are buying a Himel to own and wear what does resale value have to do with it. A typical Aero jacket sells for 50 to high 60% retail on the resale market. I do not notice Himel jackets on the resale market selling for less than 50% retail. If I am missing something, please enlighten me
I understand most would do that, but also sometimes life just gets in the way and you have to let go of something. Or let's say your body changes over time and you can no longer fit something. To lose a few hundred bucks on another brand like Vanson, Aero, Thedi, Kelso, etc. is acceptable. Losing that same % on a Himel is close to $1,000.

I'm not knocking the brand (well, the label I am, yes) and I would love to try one out in person.

I wonder whether they were bidding up their own auction.

The whole thing smells funny........ (not the jacket itself although it may smell funny too)

Why would they throw the BUY IT NOW PRICE as the price that was fraudulently bid up??? Clearly THAT price is NOT being set by the market. Auctions are SUPPOSED to sort of allow bidders to set the market price for something. Something is worth what someone is willing to pay for it after all.

What's the point of setting this fantasy price as a BUY IT NOW??? Obviously offers can be made regardless but this Seller doesn't appear to be on the up and up.

Lets see if Terry can sneak in and grab this amidst all of the apparent treachery!!

Lets see if Terry can sneak in and grab this amidst all of the apparent treachery!!

Ok, the seller are probably desperate to sell. Their efforts to rig the election, sorry Auction, have been uncovered. I need to denigrate the jacket in order to reduce the selling price. I will certainly bring up the missing zipper and the holes in the lining. Maybe sending this thread will help?

creative marking maybe treachery no. No one is being forced to buy or bid on this jacket, it is still a supply and demand market.

Well in general, treachery involves deception. Sure, no one is forcing anybody to buy anything. That's not what treachery means. In this case, it appears there has been some deceptive bidding and possibly some shill bidding. Neither of which are in the Spirit of how true auctions are supposed to work. In this respect, the election, sorry AUCTION was rigged.

If the demand was there and was legitimate, this jacket would have sold for the price of the winning bid. But something still seems at least a bit awry here to me. o_O

Terry, those holes in the lining and missing zipper are terrible flaws!!!!! Request an IMMEDIATE 50% off brother!!!! Wouldn't it be great if you ended up actually somehow snagging this????
