worn Chelsea boots for the last 2 days and it's so easy and I'd imagine an engineer will be the same. What engr boot are you possibly going to go for?

Thank you! Love this shade of brown, lucky I was able to order one from this hide before FL stopped offering it! Cheers
Was thinking of starting with a pair of Wesco Mister Lou before moving into one of the Asian makers.

A halfbelt with piping front and some ornaments that I made last year.

Same here, waiting for an interesting hide to be offered at standard and strange then maybe get one from Indonesia or Japan. I'll get a black and brown one this year.

Is that because of build quality or material used? Or maybe fit/feel on your feet?

They do look well made and the price reflects it lol
All of the above. They’re out of my league, but they were much nicer! The Redwings and Wescos definitely feel like “boots”. The Lofgrens were more like shoes in the form of boots (if that makes sense).
They are even better than the MF Road Champs that I tried on, although if you like the look the MF are very nice too, the footbed could use cushion IMO.

That's great to know, the price is steep but guess you get what you pay for at the end so that's fair. I think I know what you mean with that, probably easier to wear and kinder on your feet to wear that particular boot.

Are MF boots made here or are they also made in Japan?

I think all boots need a cushion anyways lol it's always a welcome relief to wear sneakers after wearing a pair of boots all day

@handymike i just looked the mf road champs and it's out of stock so that's a good sign that people do like them. It's about the same price range as the john lofgrens.

I'm sure he has quite a following, classic Americana with great social media presence and what looks like high quality items. Hope something turns up in the classifieds haha
