I could be way off base here. But I think the weird stitching is the reason it is BOTH a fair price AND still available. I think one could just carefully fabric dye the thread and return it to almost normal.

Does anyone else see what I'm seeing???

I did notice the odd coloring. At first I thought it was a brown Cal. I had one that had stitching that sort of, kind of looked that this. The color, not the weird stitching. Then, when I saw the jacket was described as black, I thought, well, maybe it’s the lighting used for the pictures. I considered asking the seller but I have enough Cals (for now lol).

Aside from the Pit Bull bite on the right(?) lower sleeve complete with 3 full gnarly punctures...........

This LOOKS similar to the smallish Cal Padded CR that has been on the Bahia for months now........ Perhaps it is the same model OR the Seller has seen the Cal listing and is extrapolating that this one is also a Cal. Actually, I haven't really looked that close at the one that's been listed for awhile because its too small for me so perhaps it is not a Cal either.

Either way, its a pretty cool looking design---pads and all. I don't ride but I'd still wear this jacket even if I had to fend off the pot shot comments as to "where my bike is", and "what river I'm gonna jump next". The coolness would be like a forcefield against anyone trying to trash talk.......

Alas, the "bite wound" on the sleeve is a deal killer for me even if the size is in my range.

Since I'm the one selling that jacket, I can confirm that the measurements are indeed correct, lol. But yeah, it's why I'm selling it. It's really huge on me now, even tho it doesn't look so but it is. I can wear it over another leather jacket at the moment.
