I wouldn’t worry too much about the case with the plexiglass cradle but like you, I have one w/o it and my S100 gets bagged before being stored in the case.

Unusual Stetson box (I thought maybe Canadian as the hat was a Smithbilt, but the auction was in Colorado, so ... I dunno). Not mine.

I think there is a one-sided view of this same style box earlier in the thread. Mid-to-late 1930s? (This box is not mine)
I finally managed to land one of these at a halfway decent price. They usually fetch a premium. It's not perfect; one of the straps is broken and the key is missing, but it does have some stories to tell I'm sure.
Leather hatbox for a topper. Hat is missing, but it appears to be from the turn of the previous century as the datestamp looks like it says 1908.
