So, I consider this quite a "win". Arrived today - TT Leathers padded biker jacket which I bid a grand total of £14!! Size says 38R but it's very snug and quite short, but guess that was the cut back then. But I'm pretty happy with it, especially for that price. Anyone else have experience with TT?

I had one myself, although the earlier version with the bright red lining.

Same design though, with the exaggerated quilting. Mine was a 38 too and impossibly snug on my then-38 frame, so unfortunately I had to move it on after some minor repairs and treating the leather.

I'll have a root about and see if I can find where I posted about it...

Aha, here we go. It was longer ago than I remembered and in fact the design differed slightly from yours.

I made a whole thread, it turns out.

I am normally a size 40 (40 inch chest) and this one is a size 40 can easily wear it over a thick sweater. I don't know what the name of it is and doesn't seem to mention on the label. This is 90% wool and 10% nylon.

Thanks man. I’ll do more research on this one. The jacket looks sensational on you.

Thank you! Size 38-40ish, even I have jackets in 36 which fit me nice.
Cheers!

You bet!

Thanks! I found it on yahoo auctions, I searched for Tenderloin wool jacket and scrolled until I saw this one. Very good value for money for sure!

Simmons Bilt black goat Klondike. Olive stitching, chest pocket altered to remove outer cording, wrist cuffs omitted; straight line finish. Triangular patches added to chest and hand warmers pockets. Inner pocket is made of the olive cotton lining, not leather faced. Brown corozo buttons. This is a relatively nice and simple modification of their pattern. The back is yoked as usual.

Like the Aero in dark seal, this is a lighter hide (the SB is lighter than the Aero, but there isn't much in it; both were 1.2 mm but this is more pliable). The neck is really comfortable - somehow, the weight is distributed differently from other jackets I own (suit jackets and blazers approximate the neck 'weight' of this jacket).

This is a very cool design. If you have a photo wearing it from a few feet away that would be preferable.
