It's been a hot minute since I've been on here. The new job has kept me busy 24/7. I am finally on the homeward journey after running 10 weeks straight.

At home, I'll be switching out the three hats I have. I plan to switch the beaver Northwest Hats, the JBS 25 and the Akubra Fed IV for a beaver Gannon and a Stetson straw (or maybe an Akubra hemp, haven't decided).

Hopefully I'll have more to share next week when I'm home and have more interesting lids to wear. Here are a few photos I've been able to take the last few weeks - I have barely had time to sleep, let alone take photos.

Happy Sunday to all.

The Borsalino, always a difficult choice Stefan, but a pleasurable one all the same.

Black hat 002.JPG

Black is not my usual choice for church, but as Tina said that this bespoke Gamble & Gu-nn complimented my blazer perfectly, who was I to argue?

Lots of killer hats, but damn I love that Mossant! The color and the brim are amazing!

P. & C. Habig Wien "Export Qualität", late 1950s. This Homburg Hat was made for Hut Brömme Nürnberg. Overall very high quality. Great Form and Felt Color + Finish with contrasting Band and Binding. I found this Homburg Hat is 2023.

P. & C. Habig, Wien Envelopes (1907, 1920). The first one from 1907 of course has "KAIS. U. KÖN." and "HOF". I found the envelopes in 2014.

Today a little Resistol Jason Aldean. Picked it up as a project hat for playing with a new Guy Morse Brown Brim curl tool. Only real issue is that it has a really short crown. Any crease at all and it touches the head. Still have a bit of playing and shaping to do, ( cleaning up the brim edges, and thinking about a sloped front "Gus" crease) but figured its passable and Id trot it out this morning.
