A friend of mine sent me the link to this great place in New Zealand. I'd love to fly over to NZ and check it out one day. I've heard the Deco Weekend is really good.

I thought some of you might find this interesting. Maybe you've been there or would like to go!

Thanks, Catsmeow! If you can get over there, do - the city is fantastic, and the locals become very much involved. Miss Sis has done it a few times, so might have some feedback on it as well.

I'm just working with the other ladies in the party to put the finishing touches to our outfits for this year's event. And this time, I'm bringing my *own* camera, rather than relying on everyone else - I want to photograph more of the buildings. I'm also planning on spending more time looking at the architecture and some of the interiors. We're going to the Black Tie Ball in neighbouring Hastings on the Thursday night, so will hopefully see some of the Hastings Deco as well.

Hampshire, England Via the Antipodes.

I love Napier! If you get a chance to go, anytime, go. It's a wonderful place and the locals are definitely friendly. The buildings are fabulous to walk round and look at!

I'm hoping to make it back next year for the Art Deco Weekend along with my BF. My Mum went again this year. She loves it too.

I'm with Miss Sis, Napier's a great little town and very easy on the eye.

If you get a chance definitely make a visit.

The East Coast also gets the best summers in the country.
