I had watched it and forgotten about it before it ended.
It looks like a fantastic deal for whoever got it.

Can you believe eBay? When the seller wanted to change his listing to worldwide (and it did not specifically say so) eBay would not let him change it - but then my snipe would not accept the bid either...bizarre...just missed today's cheapest Monte...:rage: :rage: http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=140260262125

Two clear beaves from ebay

:D I am thrilled with my recent scores from ebay. I still new with hats but am learning quickly with the help of the lounge. The Frank McLoud & Son has arrived and the hat is nicer than I anticipated. The brim snaps the felt thin the crown shape firm. I took a chance with the size and am stretching the hat 1/8” http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=270265356400&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=017
I am still waiting for this 7X clear beaver OR. I’ll report back when it arrives. At the price I paid, I am happy even if the hat needs to go to Optimo for a face-lift

Hope you like the Frank McCloud. It's a great hat, isn't it?

It doesn't get much better than those old beaver hats, and I much prefer the feel of ones like the 7X or like that McCloud over the thinner, stiffer 100s.

Very nice, and with the cigarette ad no less.
Didn't you also win that Portis Milan a few weeks back? I know there's something really nice that I was watching that you won.

That's a great hat you scored there. I love the Ribbon treatment and the ventilated sweatband is nice as well. Nice color too. :eusa_clap
