My, that's QUITE the vocal workout you're getting! I am pleased to note other FLers listening to opera though. I don't how much interest you do have in it, but if you haven't already, give Corelli & Bastianini a try. They're vintage and (some of) the best!

As for me, I'm enchanted by Vishtay Bunyan as of late. Me, liking hippie music! Never in a million years would I have thought it possible, but there it is!

Yes, it is quite the workout. If by Corelli you mean Franco Corelli, he is amongst my favorite tenors. Bastianini I have not heard of, but I will give him a try!

The very same! He is my personal favorite tenor, followed by Domingo. Bastianini was Corelli's contemporary, only Baritone with a capital B!

Ricky Nelson. Haven't listened to him in a long time. When I'm in a Ricky Nelson phase I can listen to him on repeat endlessly and then I'll go through a period of finding his music bland.

I listen to Bobby Rydell daily. I absolutely love his voice. I have to listen to 'So Rare' whenever I can get access to this computer. I don't have it on CD so I listen to it on youtube. Maybe it's because I'm hearing impared but the "little old ladies" doing the back-up vocals on his old recordings don't bother me though I've heard that others think they detract from the sound. Well, it was probably in the time.....I don't really notice them. However, I find the male backing vocals on 'Up On The Roof' more pleasant to listen to. I listen to Dion Dimucci nearly as often.

All three still go pretty high frequency, but at least not to the level of Erna Sack or Mado Robin. While those two do have tremendous voices, they are not for the faint of heart or sensitive of hearing.
