Well, I love my Boss boot, which was bought and shipped before the long lead times.
Wesco also resoled with Dr. Sole. Buckles by Fukushi (sp).
Black Chromexcel. They used to look beat up until I treated them with Collonil 1909 polish.
The Romeo are based on the Roller Magazine collaboration...
Depends on what you have done on your Wescos when they’re being built. Mine ran in the $1k plus range when all was said and done (Chromexcel leather, resizing, resole, leather lining, Japanese buckles, Dr. Sole sole).
Black Bear Brand is selling shell cordovan Wesco Boss in the $1k range right...
Just gave them a condition and clean. This Collonil 1909 stuff is amazing! The Chromexcel leather really ate it up. The Bick5 is for inside cleaning of the boot. Collonil goat hair brush.
White’s has a sale on the Max Schaaf engineer boots:

I like them. I’ve gone through two other boss boots that were made in Horween Horsehide but the fit wasn’t right on them due to my own fault. Chris knows his stuff in sizing. I should have done E width on my MP toe Horsehide the first time. Had the first Horsehide mp toe stretched to E width...
Time to invest in a boot jack! Clinch even sells one I think. I’ve gotten so used to using a boot jack because I’m inflexible at taking off engineer boots.
