Revlon cherries in the snow V besame Cherry red
Another agreement. I like Cherries in the Snow during the summer, it's a hot pink for me. Besame Cherry Red is a nice, blue based red. -

SheBear, so the band is a straight rectangle? I have a vintage pattern that is very similar and it has a shaped band. The piece looks like it could be a facing, KWIM? I think that is the problem. 7st to 1in is a modern fingering, which is typically a US 1-3 (2.25-3.25mm). I typically use a 1 for ribbing and 3 for stockingette on vintage patterns using fingering weight yarn.- kamikat

I bought a set of Hot Sticks this weekend. My hair normally doesn't hold a hot set very well but I've been looking for an alternative to a wet set that takes 12 hours to dry so I can work out more and still look good. This is my first attempt. It's a but fluffier than I like but not too bad... -

Fingerwave drying time
I plan to wash my hair tomorrow and I'll take a picture of my set. -
Fingerwave drying time
I use metal clips and sleep in them and have no problems. I don't understand what the problem is with wearing them in the evening? My fingerwaves last 2-3 days and look just as good as day 1 without having to wrap them or rewave them. -
Saddle shoes
That's brilliant! I find my saddle shoes to be too hot in the summer but Keds are perfect.- kamikat

Plus Size models
A few years ago, there was a petition to get Roaman's (a modern plus sized women's mail order retailer) to use larger models. While their clothing is from size 14-32, they use size 12 models. Their response was that items modeled on smaller models sell better than items modeled on larger...- kamikat
