New Hat Bar in Oz!
Popped in to have a look last week. It is a really, really, really nice fit out - one of the nicest shops around. Very classy. Dark (almost black japan) timber mouldings fitted right to the very high ceilings. They now also stock Danielle Wallace ties and some other non-hat stuff... -

I get the theory, but for this to work in practice you would have to be quite slow and low in the stubble department? What do you use to shave?
I use Taylors of Old Bond Street soaps. They make a neat little bowl with a lid that fits the soap perfectly - in either wood or pewter. I use pewter, as I find that the dome-shaped lid is great to work a lather up in. When finished, just rinse the lid and pop it back on the bowl - looks...- Selvaggio

shaving query
Dave, if you can shave with a modern cartridge you can shave with a DE. Because the DE razor is not as forgiving as a pivot head, multi-blade razor it is MUCH more about feel of the razor. I have been using a DE razor now for about six months and, whilst I like it, I am a little less...- Selvaggio

I think City Hatters (right in the centre of Melbourne) might be able to help. Being open crown, I suspect that the Campdraft wouldn't sell in the volume of their pre-creased models, so it may pay to call ahead and make sure they have some in. Oh...and by "summer" you mean winter of course;) -
