I've got one of the more recent BR iterations of the N-1 and agree with what others have said about its warmth and comfort. I don't find the alpaca itchy or irritating in the slightest and like the fairly slim cut.
Not for everyone, I guess, but I really like Himel's tweed jackets. There was another one that David was wearing on the cover of "Clutch" magazine that looks even cooler, IMHO.

Ishmael, I agonised over the colour for a long time and in the end went with black. Black just seems to go better with the rest of my wardrobe, plus brown wouldn't have suited the burgundy lining.
The quality of the stitchwork on this jacket is amazing. I've got a bunch of leather jackets made by Japanese and Western companies and was just blown away by the attention to detail. Buttons, by the way, are vintage melamine.
Of course, this beauty is proudly made in Canada...
