I'm selling some more of my G1s. This is the first. Note the slight issue with the zipper (hence starting price of USD125), but it's a proper E-series sz48, in goat!

I'm not really sure what to do with these. They do have a few tears; the main one is the right ankle which reaches is about 1/3-1/2 way round; then there are 2-3 other small 2-3 inch tears. All small enough to repair if someone is so inclined. Two of the zippers work, and just need a good clean...
I just acquired this rather beat up pair of AN-T-35 flight trousers. Part of an estate sale; they were in with some totes and a tarp.
I've been looking about on the web but have not found any with this particular label (on the inside seam, rather than int the centre middle. I thought that they...
I've owned a lot, and they all fit very differently. The best fit was a sz46 series-E by Ralph Edwards... but I sold it because the goat was thin and the zipper had been replaced to non-standard. I sort of regret it now. Another good fit was an old sz50 repro, but it is cow not goat. Currently...
I'm really glad it fits you. There's nothing like the look an feel of a proper vintage goat g1: it was a crime when they switched to cow, especially the squeaky stuff.
I wear a 48L in the modern repros. Maybe I could fit in a 46 or 48 of the old pre-7823 series as they were slightly larger. and most importantly, longer, but large sizes in those babies are very expensive. I've bought a few 46 G1's now and none are quite the right sizing for me. I even have a...
Thanks for the purchase. I got the shipping labels printed and it will be in the mail tomorrow! It's a nice jacket, wish I could fit in a vintage G1, but it's not going to happen I don't think.

Hi, I've decided to sell this one from my collection. I have too many jackets, and this one runs a little short on me I feel. I need the money too, sad to see it go though...
Starting at $300, some photos below, and many more in the ebay listing...
Good price for the larger size.
If it is an official navy contract manufacturer then it looks like an E, but I am not convinced that it is. Looks like the pressed cow leather rather than goat (very few of the later dynal collar G1's have goat, although I have a goat E-series with the dynal...
It's an 80's repro. Somewhere on it is likely to be one of those "made by original manufacturer" labels; usually on the inside of the zipper. They use waistband material for the cuffs (which feels a bit thick), the zipper is a scovill (ie late D-series/E-series equivalent), they have the...
Here's a recent-ish acquisition: A size 46 "A"-series LW Foster contract (are these called "a" series, despite not carrying the letter?). Immaculate original collar and conmar zipper. This has the red/maroon shade to the goat hide that you see in some of the A-series.
I have an unlabeled (presumed) E-series (probably a 48, since it's bigger than my 46's), and it's also a squeaker. All the Imperial Leather examples I have seen have been the squeaky cowhide, which is ~2 shades lighter brown than the seal-goathide that was used for the earlier series (and the...
