I just finished this, it's a test jacket for an M-1941 in brown horsehide. I still have a few buttons to put on, but after sewing 12 on by hand I need a break...

I've recently wondered what this jacket would look like in leather - and now I know! Thanks for posting! (I have a vintage USN version of this jacket - the one without the epaulettes and adjustors. I think it's an N4? I was fantasizing about having Aero make me one in HH when I win the lottery! ;) )
