1940s or 1950s. Odd Things to State As Well

Just got this nice navy rust pinstriped 3 - button and I'm trying to figure out if it's 40s or 50s. It's fully lined which isn't as common. Odd things are that it's not vented and the pockets don't have flaps. The pants are pleated and they are the high waist pants. Also the lapels are odd shapped. I wonder if this was a custom made suit. Also the jacket and pants have this patch sewed in them saying moth hole protection.

Not easy to say. But I think sure that those lapels were reshaped from their original shape to the slimmer one preferred during the course of 50s. Look at the gorge angle: it's too wide to be born in this way, just compare with lapels coming from that period.

There isnt no way to lengthen them back to normal is there.
