All, forgot to send my final configuration, .25 inches longer. An extra ~6mm in length isn't going to hurt anything.

It should arrive next month.

Here it is, under florescent light.

Over the moon with this jacket. Fits well, looks and smells outstanding. Only reason it doesn't fit perfectly Is because I accidentally got fatter Well dieting will fix that.

The pinnacle brown horsehide is great, very well cut, almost no blemished anywhere excepting a few bug bites and maybe barb wire scars.

Leather is a lot more supple than the Italian cowhide for jacket I had. A bit lighter but certainly substantial.
