Aero ?

Just wondered if this was a real Aero (Scotland) as I haven't seen this label before? I haven't seen that many come to think of it.

The jacket design is also unfamiliar

Or is it just an old discontinued style?

Doesn't look like an Aero Scotland to me. Never seen a back like that(with center seam)on an Aero...or those kind of side buckles. I bet it comes from Japan that gets around the Aero copyright.

Yep, not an Aero, Scotland jacket. HD is probably right about the origin.

I was suspicious of it.
It's for sale for £150, advertised as a bargain compared to the £500 for a new one on the Aero website. Aero Scotland that is.

It is not an "o" in the end of the name.
It is the last character in the Danish/Norwegian alphabeth. (third character after "z")

The jacket is second hand so whoever made it may not be in business any more. Plus I don't think its really my place to police Aeros copyright, but here is the link if anyone else wishes to.

Pass the link to Aero and let them deal with it.

Perhaps a discreet personal note to the vendor informing him that he might be inadvertantly misleading any potential buyers? This could save him some later embarrasment.

I contacted the seller, noted his jacket did not appear to be an authentic Made in Scotland Aero.

Very nice reply. Noted he did know the origin of the jacket but would check it out.
