Any manufacturers do goatskin that does fade?

Just wonderin'. My Aero Seal Goat 50s HB looks almost new, still.

I have a 1962 G-1 in goat that has some creases, but still looks new.

Yeah. The goat Aero and Ironheart used around 6 years ago which was part veg and part chrome tanned faded quickly - 6 months in. Veg tanned goat will fade. I personally didn't like this as I prefer the goat that develops more subtle character, a wonderful burnished, creased look rather than fading.

I think that Aero's goat is an ideal weight (and I like their mid-weight hides, too)- if it faded, I reckon I'd be tempted by another purchase in it. And if it was offered in more colours.

The seal HB I have is still a go-to; it also still smells quite... distinctive.
