Is anyone else enjoying this on History Channel friday nights? They follow the Enterprise through every battle of the war and use file footage with CGI and interviews from people that were there.

It's in the spirit of Dogfights, which won't be on this week for whatever reason. Anyone see last week with the Me 163 and such?

Battle 360 just gets better each time, last Friday night I and my Dad who came by for a visit watched together, interesting and he doesn't talk much about the war but he remembers Japanese torpedoes hitting ships, Although I go for aerial dogfights, the graphics the best, it takes nothing away from the stories about naval fleet battles 360, I trust they have more on the destroyers or destroyer escort ships many of them were built around or at the end of WWI.

I did. It was interesting to see the Komet fly.
Serious balls needed to climb into that thing.
I never heard of the encounter with the Mosquito before.
I relly like the realisim they give the graphics on this show.
Did you see the one about the New Years Day attack?

Great Show. The thing that always astonishes me watching these shows is how lucky we, the U.S. were. If it hadn't been for a storm the Enterprise would have been at Pearl Harbor. There are many instance of this during world war 2. Rommel not being in France and on leave for his wife's birthday when D-Day occured.

I was also surprised to find out that Enterprise Auto Rental was named for the Carrier. The founder was a pilot during World War 2 and flew from the Enterprise.

Last nite was just superb! The portrayal of the dogged determination of both the Japanese and Americans was just without parallel.

It was so refreshing to see the Imperial Navy guys fighting skillfully and tough where their Army counterparts' best maneuver was suicide attack even when they weren't in desperate situations.

Guys like Swede Vejtasa knocking down 7 Vals and the Val pilots forcing their way through to find targets. How about the valiant effort of the USS Smith nippin through the wake of a cruiser to put out her fires?

And I had no idea that sponsor Enterprise Rent-a-car's founder was a pilot on the Big E. Can't wait till next week.
