Hey all, I recently took possession of an original B15-A. All looks legit. The manufacturer on the tag is listed Reed Products, INC., which is a maker I have never encountered. Not finding much in the way of info. on the different makers of these jackets. Anyone got any info?

Yes...Reed was a contractor who made nylon flight jackets in the 'fifties. I see more Reed N-2As than anything else...but they made B-15s, too. Someone with a copy of Suit Up can tell you exactly what B-15 contracts Reed had and their dates.

Reed Products had contracts for both the B-15 and the B-15A. Their B-15A contract was 45-5107 and dates to the 1945 fiscal year.
